    Bronze Bomber Clasp Opinions, Please

    HI GUYS,
Working away at trying to learn badges. What do you guys think of this one? It's a bronze (I think) unmarked bomber clasp. Opinion requested. Sorry for the crumby photos.

        Hello Gerard,

these are not the best pics but nevertheless I´m sure that this is a very good original in tombak (earlier piece). From the reverse it may be an unmarked "Osang"-production.

        Nice one!

        Kind Regards

Hi Gerard, probably a good one but tough to tell from these pics. Do you see any circular machine marks in the reverse cut-out? best wishes,

I think its okay....I like to see the pins made of nickel, generally on a lot of these early unmarked pieces you have to judge the piece on its individual merits as there is not much written and documented on these.

...and you have to look at the patination...tough to tell on the reverse if there is powder or not....

Finally got the clasp, here are the photos. It's very nice in person and my gut says it's original. Can I have some opinions?

If nobody brought it to your attention. The bullet holes appear to be hand finished which is a good sign. I like it.

I like it as well, as Richard said the filed out triangles from a round drill hole is a good sign. Nice clasp. best wishes,
