Hello a recently aquired Flak badge minus the pin. Maker Wein Im told. Is it typical of this maker to provide such swept back wings on the eagle? Best Bill Bourque

This is a typical "Wernstein." We don't know the maker, probably one of the Vienna makers, but we call it Wernstein for simplicity until more is known. This is the most common reverse for this badge. As for the wings, it is typical, though yours seems a little more pronounced than the ones I have.
