Fake BSW Para

Gents,

I would just like to bring your attention to this rather dangerous fake BSW Para badge that has just hit the market. When I was shown this yesterday I was a bit non plussed but further study and consultation with a few other people have revealed it for what it is. Thanks to all who replied to my mails. A special thanks to Tim Ball for the excellent comparision pics I will be showing.
Also thanks to poor Christian who was the buyer of this badge, and is out quiet a few Euros, for letting me show it here.

I believe the same guys who were responsible for the fake Deumer shown in this thread are also making this badge. Notice the likeness of wreath darkening/rivets/hinge and eagle.

The wreath on the fake is an exceptionally good rendering of the BSW and had me fooled for a moment. The maker mark has been improved from the old fakes (yes, they are reading this here) and is very close to the original now.

Buyers beware.

I am very disheartened to hear that Christian did not get his money refunded on this. Was he at least able to get some kind of credit for something else?
