I am on dial-up while away for the weekend, so I can't do the vigorous comparisons I would like to. I think metal flow is a possible explanation. Some of the details look very good, others are absolute crap, which makes me think it was a metal issue. Dion, can you post a close-up of the maker mark and that may settle it for certain. Yes - the Detlev issue muddied the waters, but if you have ever handled one of these you know it is spot-on correct.
