    RK 3-Rivet LW Ground Combat

    Hello:

I picked up an RK 3-Rivet LW Ground Combat badge at the Pomona, California show which was held this weekend.

A lot of WAF members were there and it was nice to meet them in person!

I believe that this badge shares the same die characteristics, maker mark, eagle, and setup of an authentic RK piece, and I've been waiting for the right one to come my way.

Your opinions on the badge would be appreciated.

    Dennis

            Hi Dennis,

From what I can see, it looks like a textbook RK - nice one

I looked at this badge carefully in person and can tell everyone it is as textbook as they come. Down to the shear marks on the catch. If I had not just bought one it would be in my collection right now. Glad you got it Dennis! best wishes,

KUDOS to you, Dennis. I wish I had gone to that Pomona show and had obtained the badge myself. The only ones I ever purchased were fake.

""R.K." Luft GCBs are highly faked...but yours is authentic, very rare and highly desirable.

Thanks for all of your kind remarks.

They fake the heck out of these, and I've been waiting about three years to come across one that appeared to measure up without having problems of some kind.
