        Hi David,

There are more experienced guys out there when it comes to flight spanges but personally I don't like this badge. It appears to be buntmetal but has the 68 in the maker's mark, which is normally a combination only found on repros. The main pin looks really fat as well. Paul W has posted some good images of some nice genuine Juncker spanges recently, although mainly of recon clasps. I'd to those threads and compare the maker's mark and hinge/pin/catch assemblies for a start.

        Regards

          I agree with Mike

          David,

Additionally, I have never seen a clasp with the holes cut out so precisely that they conform with the contours of the leaves. They are either round or triangular in shape.

            Hi,
It looks like a buntmetall clasp and the holes are drilled in place...
I also know this kind of flat pin.....

I can't find anything wrong at the moment except I've to admit that I never saw them marked Juncker SW 68,supposed to be a zink badge then !!??

Well, let's see what others have to say,I like it in the first place, but I'm careful...

            Jos.

Is this a possable late production as they were changing to zink metal??

                Hello David,
The piece is a repo, look closey at the maker mark, the letter "S" should look like a backwar numeral "2". Also the pin is too wide IMO. In reference to the holes I agree with Tim in that they are l wrong, they should not have that little dipple.

                Best Regards,
                JD

I would say NO for the reasons given above + the color
