    Flak Badge

    Guys,
    I have a boxed flak badge that I would like opinions on. If its ok I am going to put it and Cased Bomber clasps in Bronze, Silver And Gold on the e stand. What do you think would be a fair price on this? clasps I will post pics tomorrow (Best pics I can do at the moment, lent my camera out these are scans.

            Very nice Hobacher! I have only ever seen these with a GREEN coating, and yours has it as well. An interesting and curious situation. I guess if you wanted to buy a Hobacher you could get them in any color, as long as you liked green.

              Flak Badge

              Hello Paul,
              I agree with Marc it is a nice badge as well as a super case . I owned one years ago (when I was going through my Flak badge phase) that was actually more of a blue-green. Like Marc said, the majority of them were this green color. A friend of mine had one that had a black finish on it, anyone ever seen one of those?

                I have one where the reverse is so dark green it looks black. The crevaces of the wreath on the obverse show definate green, and under strong light the back is green. At any rate, all the hobacher Flaks I have ever seen have the very subdued field color as opposed to the sparkly shoot-me-here silver.
