        Hello Howard,

sorry, but this is a well done clasp-copy. It appears in many variations (Jäger, Schlachtflieger, ...).

            Hello Max,

Interesting. Could you direct me to where I might find information concerning this style of fake. Or better, share photos?

            Regards,
            Howard

              Hi Howard,

Unfortunately what has been said is true. This known series of fakes comes unmarked and with several (wrong) marks. The most commonly found mark on these is an Osang mark. They first had the Juncker maker wrongly spelled JUNKER, but have corrected this. Even the wear and "zinc-finish fading" is faked on these and very cleverly done, I might add.
To erase any doubts you might have, the best thing is to look at an original Juncker made bomber clasp. They are superrare, made from Tombak and are stamped in the CENTER part of the badge with the usual, known Juncker mark that you can find on all of their flight badges.
              Cheers, Frank

...and here is the very same fake as yours, this time in silver and with a wrong Osang mark. Note again the same clever zinc faded finish (pics are by Sascha Weber).
