Dennis, generally that is right but not a hard and fast rule.
Tim is, as usual, right. Thats a J2 Jmme. Look at the right wing feathering and fine stamped talons. Then compare that to a J3 you have on file. Quiet different.

Hi Dennis,

In my silly little brain, J1, 2 and 3 refer to die characteristics only. The eagle and wreath both share the same die as your average J2.

Sincere thanks. There certainly are a myriad of possible combinations (components and maker marks) where these IMME & Juncker combinations are concerned.

With so many IMME and Juncker fakes out there, I'm just trying to gain some fundamental information on variants in order to proceed with caution.
