What is a real Retired Pilots Worth?

What is a real Retired Pilots Worth? It is Junker marked cut out between legs. With a COE from Detlev. I will post pictures when I determine value and place it on the eStand here.

        Frank,

Jimmy kindly sent me some pictures of this badge. I did not give a favorable prognosis. The makermark says it all. Exactly like a repro that I used to have. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't want the badge. I am surprised that Detlev gave a COA! I'd be interested in seeing an image of that, in itself.

Would you be able to produce a good shot of the maker mark itself?
            Cheers, Frank

              Frank,

(Here is one that Jimmy sent me. I am posting without his permission, and will remove by request.)

Look at the makermark font. Look at the 'J'. See ya.

Thanks, I agree, not what one would expect in an original retired pilot by Juncker.

I******180;d like to see the CoA though.

Not a badge I would purchase.

                    Hello,
I also agree that the badge is not a good one. That fake has been around a long, long time. One of those came my way at Max Show III (I ended up finding three more like it at the same show, one of the reasons I passed on it). I have pictures of it somewhere and will post them (when I find them).
                    Regards,
                    Jody

                            Jimmy,

Can you scan or take a picture of the image? We would really appreciate that.

                            Thanks,

I guess the proper initials are CoA sorry for COE I don't know where I got that from.

I sent a copy of that (the CoA) to Frank Heukemes because he is a "moderator" official? And I did not know the protocol for posting a document such as this.

He, the moderator has my permission to post it if that is the right protocol.

Detlev Niemann is the most trusted and honest dealer that I know of. He valued the badge at $1,000. several years ago. I guess considering that PO's are now over $2,000 and this badge has some "question" about it i would sell it for $2000. Complete with Detlevs CoA.
