Aluminium Airgunner/Radio Operator Badge by Assmann

    Hello fellows,

I got an Aluminium Airgunner Badge by Assmann yesterday.
Unfortunately the catch has an old repair.
IMO it's original - what do you think about it?

    Best wishes

    Joerg

Hi Joerg, The Badge is very nice!

As Frank stated, these more often repaired than not.I'll show the one that i

picked up earlier this year for comparison, with repaired Eagle Rivets.

            Regards,Ron

Very nice badge - and with the original catch!

                Much better conditioned than mine.

                Best wishes

                          Nice badges, all..

Here's a comparison between the Tombak and Alu' versions. Interesting to note how 'Assmann' places the the left wing a little lower on the Alu' types than on the Tombak..
