    Assman maker mark OK ?

Any thoughts, pro or con, of this Assman maker mark on this early Observers Badge? Robert

Well I be dipped in doo. The logo is Assmann's up to the dealy bob at the top. That I assume is what your question is all about.

I have never seen this variation, however, this badge is shown in their catalogue. My vote is thumbs up!

    Happy New Year!

    Dan.

      Thanks, Dan

Yeah, I have never seen this particular variation in maker mark either. The badge itself is certainly Assman. Robert

          Yes,

I don't see problems about its position.

The mark looks fine. I've seen this style on Pilot badges as well as on the wreath of the aluminum radio-op badge. Also, it is the same style as the logo used on their catalog (I believe that is what Dan was referring to.) There is another style that is like Ivan's with the "arms" on the cross-bar of the A and a flatter dealy-bob at the top. The latter is more common, but both styles are legitimate Assmann marks.

              Hi all,
the assman mark on the catalouge has a circle around it like on my observers badge what about that.

                merdock;

If it's the same one I'm thinking of, I believe it to be original as many others have stated here as well.
                Best regards,

                Tony

                  Thanks

Thank you one and all for the help. I especially like the maker mark stamp illustration in the catalog as well as the other stamps themselves on the badges. Robert

                    For more informations,

in early para badges the mark is another, with differents "arms" and around a circle

following is the address where you find my para badge "A"
