Para Badge

Hi,

I'm no expert when it comes to badges and have a question.

If you look at this thread,
http://www.wehrmacht-awards.net/foru...d.php?t=133742

you will see a Para Badge with a skinny & crooked swastika.

The Para badge in this current thread has a thick swastika.
Are they both correct?

Very nice badges! I've always liked the cloth badges as much as their metal counterparts.

Mike, the para on the link you provided is one associated with the late war subdued wreath variety. The other para in this thread is more along the lines of mid war. There are variations of cloth badges due to different makers and then there will be slight variations from the same maker even though the same embrodery machine may be used. Both para badges are correct.. and very nice!!

I don't believe this one is original- the weave isn't tight at all as you'd expect to see in originals.
