    I would have to agree with the guys... The eagle, however, is based on the "unknown maker" type. These fakes come with various reverse setups and are relevantly new to the market.

    Here's one that's had the eagle artificially aged.

      Sorry guys, been busy so could not answer. Yes, I have this badge for at least 20 years as I recall it and I have never ask the vet if this was a replacement and/or his was lost in the war. I have his picture wearing the badge (I wil post it) however you can't tell from the picture at all.
      If everything goes well I will be in Germany in Dec. for Holidays and I will try to see Walter.
