I may be wrong but isn't it a "dotty fake" etui?

Hi Alex,

initially as a first impression i thought the same, the exterior of the case looks kinda odd.
Might be just the angle that makes it look a bit weird or if it's taken with flash. I have seen originals that have a slightly dotty pattern as well.
A though one based on those pictures.

I finally decided not to purchase it since the seller was not open for negotiations.
I found in a nice shop in Prague specialized in military antiques. It is a place to go if you are in Prague.
