Greetings gentlemen! With all the hoopla on pilot observer badges recently I figured I would post mine. I have had it in my collection for a long time. It's a heavy badge,tombak I believe, with a good amount of wear on it. I have not seen to many like this one. The case I picked up seperately. Sorry. I agree with Jeff and Lorenzo. The whole obverse does not match the die characteristis of a Juncker P/O badge. On the rear, the hinge is the wrong size, the makermark is in correct (should NEVER have a 68 on a P/O)..... well, just lots is wrong.

Thank You gentleman. I purchased this back in the early '90's from another collector who got it from his friend who lived next door to him and who's father was a vet from the 101st and he brought it back. I guess this is proof that not all things vets brought back were original! Bummer! Thanks for the quick input.Comment
