Hi Herm,
It looked OK from the front but the back does not right. The eagle looks cast (from the reverse image - soft edges) and the hinge, pin and rivets are incorrect for an early Juncker imo. The reverse eagle and wreath edges lack typical early Juncker hand-finishing. Going back to the obverse, the swas looks slightly small, poorly formed and sits a bit too high - the eagle detail isn't the best on closer inspection. Sorry, but IMO it's a good cast repro.

Sorry to tell you I agree with Mike. It's a better copy than most though. At least they used an original as the template.
The casting can also really be seen in the legs and claws area. I'm also not keen on the pointed pin.
Too bad this forum wasn't around back when you bought it.
