    BSW pilot badge

After having bought a couple of bad badges recently I though I had better check tis with you guys. I am pretty sure it is god although it does not have the bridge, although it may have been removed.

    Thanks!

        Hi Bob,

First impressions of the obverse were that it looked either "soft" (possibly a casting, but possibly only because of the picture quality) or very worn. Seeing the reverse now, everything looks OK and I'd suggest it's genuine and just very heavily worn.

          Hi Mike!

It is much better than it looks. I had to scan it in a very low quality setting in order to post it. I guess my only concern was it does not have the typical bridge that my other BSW pilot badge has.

          Thanks!

            Hi Bob,

I wouldn't be too concerned about the absence of the "bridge". Someone from BSW probably took the 30 seconds required to actually remove it with a file for a change! The absence of the bridge is more typically encountered on the ?earlier versions with the full maker's name, so the absence of the bridge is not unprecedented.

Agree with all Mikes comments. A well worn original.
