    got this clasp which on looking at other examples comes back just fine. any thoughts greatly received.

            thanks skip. always a bit worried on a new piece that isnt cheap as clasp prices go. this was totally tucked away and forgotten about since the vet came back.

                gene thanks for input. no managed to get it through a third party who luckily thought to mention the piece to me. now wondering best way to didplay clasps as now have a raried luft collection of clasps

                    A nice original, which as I am sure you know are not for sale on every dealers site. Are there any traces of finish on the clasp anywhere at all?

                      Aside from RS&S, the only maker I believe made them was GH Osang. This includes the unmarked varieties often encountered without the holes drilled out on the sides of the wreath.
