    Flak Badge - real or fake?

    Hello fellows,

    a fellow collector got this Flak badge and he is not 100% pleased with it.

    What do you say - good or not?

    I did not hold it in my hands, but he told me the catch is repaired and the pin is very "soft", so you can bend it easily.

          Dear Joerg,
          As I said to you before, this is an absolutely original Flak badge. As a matter of the fact it is the mother of all the Flak badges. You can see exactly the same badge model in the wear on the period pictures from late 1942. Unfortunately as we can see from your picture, catch has been replaced. But it is still great looking original Flak badge with strong connections to the Gabonez area.
