Assmann GCB?

Hello Gents,
I recently picked up this unmarked Ground Combat Badge and it looks to have striking similarities to my marked Assmann zinc Flak Badge. The hinge and catch/catchplate look classic for a zinker by this firm. Also, the line striations on the reverse are exactly like those on the marked Flak. Has Assmann been confirmed as a maker of the GCB? This is the first GCB that I have come across with this particular hinge/catch combination. All opinions welcome and appreciated. Thanks.
