    "Claw" foot B&NL Flak

I mentioned a few threads back that I was in posession of a claw foot flak that fitted all the design aspects of a B&NL.

This caused some disbelieve so I finally got around to picking it up and doing some pics.

For your deliberation and comments, the "claw" foot B&NL Flak.

These flak "claw" badges are fairly new to me but they are fascinating.
The badge you show looks very good to me. I see no problems with it.

PS...I wonder what the weight and dimensions are compared to the B&NL flak "without claw"?

Pics of the regular one to compare. I am still a bit freaked out about teh "new" series of B&NL Flak badges. The type I have used to be superrare with only about 5 known ones around in the internet world. Now, within a relatively short time range three of the new type appear, for the first time, as far as I can tell. Possible, but weird. The connection of the obverse design of the claw examples to the high end fake is scary, but not neccessarily damning. I also cannot see anything realls wrong with them from Skip's pics, but I remain suspicious.

eagle is quite delicate, shows shear marks and breakage.

                              Guys,
As Frank pointed out, there are many common points between these two badges on their reverse side. However just looking at the obverse details, one can clearly see the differences. I’m attaching picture with 4 the most obvious ones (from the eagle alone!). Yes, I know B&NL could have more then 1 die for eagles…but (and please correct if I’m wrong) most of the time even with many dies in use, you should still be able to see many common points…right? And i don't see many common points on eagles here...<o =""></o>
