I did not want to say anything before we saw that maker mark, but it is as I suspected. The obverse design is not quite right for a Tombak Juncker badge. The mark gives it the kiss of death, IMO. It can be found on a number of questionable "Juncker" badges, such as Heer Flak fakes and Heer para fakes.

That makermark was going to tell us one way or the other. I had a feeling that the badge was a repro. Very rare, if it was makermarked AND authentic.

I had one just like the one you showed. The 'J' in Juncker should never have the horizontal top stroke, by the way.
