opinions needed on a luftwaffe gold recon bar with hangers

I was offered this gold recon bar with hanger. I wanted to get some opinions in it before buying. The dealer offered me to be an orignial but I want to see what opinions are before I would purchase this piece. All opinions are greatly welcomed. He said their is no maker mark. Let me know

Is the hanger actually affixed to the spange or does it just "hang in there"? Looks weird from the reverse.

Thank you you frank and gene. Frank I checked with the owner of it he said it is attached to the back of the spange. Would you suggest buying thanks

Hi Scott,

Agree with Frank. I am having trouble with the Anhanger. From what I can see, and maybe it's just my visual perspective, the little hanging hooks (soldered to the Spange) do not seem to go the whole way through the loops in the the Anhanger. Can you possibly get a close-up?

It may just be the reverse photo you posted, but I am seeing something odd there. As Frank indicated, the Pendant looks like it will fall off the hangers!

Maybe the owner you spoke with didn't understand the question. If I purchased that badge, I don't think I'd sleep well after I had a close look.



Don't move too quickly on this one. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting.

Hi everyone,
I talked to the owner and he said I can get a lifetime gurantee he told me I asked him again do they hang their or are they attached, he told me attached and he told it was the photo he took of it.I asked him for some better ones.
