Hi Robin,
This is very nice tombak Schwerin Minesweeper, common variant but hard to find in such pristine condition since these were awarded pieces and most of them is in worn condition. I suspect it looks nicer than on these images.
The LDO celophane bag is not from this badge IMO and must have been added sometime in the past.

I am the interested buyer of this badge.. my main concerns were -

Is the LDO packet original to the award? This seems to of been answered...

Is the finish original ? I just wanted to know that the finish is original to the badge and it hasn’t been refinished at a later stage..

There is no question about that. It is an outstanding example even if the photos are a bit blurry. Try taking the shots with a time delay.

My hands shake so much anymore that nearly all my cell phone shots come out blurry, but time delay helps.
