U-boot cap badge (swordfish)

Hello,
I need your opinions for this cap badge of the 9U flotille of Brest.
Cap badge is an exemple of the laughing swordfish.
Seller who live in Brittany found it himself at the Brest base at the hospital
Bunker place with pieces of Henriot faïence and other things...
Thanks for helping me, i know that original u-boot cap badge are very difficult to found.
On pictures badge is just put on a cap. Size badge is 4cm.

Hi, no one can tell you for sure IF it’s original or NOT. Do a search here, you’ll see similar pieces, same story, if the price is not too high and you trust the seller ...

This would not be a good investment. If you were there, digging around the old hospital dump and found it, different. But even then, you would have a hard time ever convincing somebody else about the story. John
