A very interesting HSF...is the back concave like the Schwerins?

Would it be possible to see a close up of the eagles wing, starbord side?

                  Thank you Scott,

Could I trouble you with one of the bridge windows? I thought I had these HSF badges down pat but this one is new but yet familiar to me for some reason.

                  Best regards,
                  T

Here are 3 pictures that should cover most of the badge.

The thing that really catches my eye are how thin the guns are on the 3 and 9 oclock positions. Also the thin Radio antenna on the tower? Not sure what its called. Usually these are notably thicker.

                            Hi Scott,

IMO this is a scary improvement of a well known fake. It is the RS&S HSF fake with the maker mark removed and a significantly improved hinge/pin to make it look more "Schwerin-like". Looks like some obverse detailing has also been enhanced/sharpened.

Here are some old pictures of the RS&S fake courtesy of a notorious fake seller from Arizona. Although they are small, the reverse wreath profile is still an exact match. The typical Schwerin "dimple" at the hinge end of the pin is a very scary improvement.

My opinion, return this POS and get your money back.

                            Regards
                            Mike K

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Here is a picture from Niemans Latest Book (2).
The bottom one has thin guns as well, but sideways hinge.
