Stamped Destroyer Badges

Talking about French Badges brought to mind the Destroyer War Badge stamped version. I see these on occasion, they look great , are these French made or Fantasy? Does anyone have one to post a photo?

Hi Warren. If you mean "stamped" like the hollow-backed IAB's where you can see the design of the badge on the reverse, then IMO these are fakes. The only one I ever saw like that was being sold by POH in Cave Creek.

I have one of these and although its very nice, I have a bad feeling about its originality! Maybe I can get some photos together tomorrow.

Yeah I was talking about the hollow stamped type, I've seen only two and both were nice badges. It always seemed odd that this is the only hollow stamped Navy war badge.
Tim can you post yours?
