Minesweeper Badge - Schwerin .. real?

I asked my collector friend to send me his two KM badges so I could post my six photos instead of his two small ones.
Here is his minesweeper by Schwerin:

Zink, flat, painted finish, 53 x 43 mm, 25.2 gm, Schwerin Berlin.

looks like the letters in Schwerin are starting to fill in.

There are a lot of things that I like in this badge.
I think it might be real, but I'm not yet sure.

        Hi emilitaria_usmc,

A nice original zinc Schwerin. At some point someone messed with the hinge pin but not enough to devalue it in any way, in my opinion.

        Best regards,
        ---Norm

i like the pin, thats just me, original pin

A little far slung out to the left, some swagger like jagger. matching finish. Ok to me.

And no disrespect norm, but this cam appears very close up. Natural wear.

          Best

            Hi Dion,

Yes, the main pin is original. Like I say it was the hinge pin that was messed with -- looks like someone poked it out and then hammered it back in. No big deal though.

            Best regards,
            ---Norm

I agree, a nice original zinc Schwerin
Here is the same variation from my collection (cutouts around eagles head, no hinge pin head).
              Cheers,
              Hubert
