Wouldn't be too difficult for me, keep the Schwerin!
              Kind regards,

I like the touch of postwar on my badges, I would keep the R.S....

I certainly vote for the Schwerin.

Sascha, could you please provide some closeups of the catch on the Souval? It looks somewhat atypical on that one shot.

                  Best regards,
                  ---Norm

                    Here are my considerations:
                    1. What do you still need in your collection? If one fills a hole and the other does not then fill the hole and sell the other.
                    2. If they both fill a hole but can only keep one then keep the one that is most expensive to replace. Neither of the two are that uncommon.
                    3. All things being equal as far as condition and what you need I would always take a Schwerin over a Souval.

Well, like you see I get a lot of badges. So once a month I go to the bank and check my collection by hand, bring the new badges I like with me. So I replace what I like more or badges where the condition is better.
Sometimes I have a hard time to decide what to keep. So I ask......

One minor correction. The Schwerin variant with solid swastika is much less common than the more usual cut-out swastika.

                            Hi Sascha,

Please post that catch if you get the time. If it's a "standard" flat-wire catch instead of the more usual lighter gauge Souval flat-wire then it would be a first for us here (although such a catch can be found on some other Souval products).

                            Best regards,
