The minesweeper looks like an original, denazified one to me.
The HSF is good for me.

Hi Roman,


The U-Boat is a known fake.

The minesweeper has a perfect reverse but the eagle and swas look very strange to say the least. Attempt to denazifie like Skip suggest?

And I also have to agree with Skip on the HSF, can't see anything wrong with that one.

I agree that Minesweeper and HSF both look good. HSF has a replaced hinge-pin, but I believe you can still see the "scoring" mark from the original pin placement.

Please enlighten us.

that's the reason I don't buy badges at shows! I need days to look and learn, before making the leap.
and yes, I'm now researching u-boat badges again...

A possiblity:

The pieces that look good could be cast from originals...I have seen some copies that look perfect but in hand are too small.

I am also of the opinion that only the U-Boat is a (well known) fake and the other two are (messed with) originals.

U-Boat fake, Minesweeper fake (cant understand why you would mess about with the eagle when de-nazifying unless eagle was a give away to a fake. H.S.F messed about original.
