Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

                    Hi Johan,

That's one of the nicest Schwerin Destroyer's I've seen for a while. Looks like 100% of the finish remains - a REAL 100% fire-gilt finish remaining for a change (105% of the fire-gilt finish remaining if you count the "extra" on the reverse eh Chris?).

                    Regards
                    Mike K

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

                        Yep, nice looking original.

That hinge block is interesting though, I've never seen one as off centre as that before,...

                        Cheers,
                        David.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'
