U boat war badge enquiry

Greetings,
I have a good quality U boat breast badge amongst my collection. I am, basically, trying to re-arrange my collection in order to sell some items and look for others to purchase. This is my 1st post so please bear with me if I've made any mistakes.
I have a U-boat breast badge. It is in excellent condition and I am confident of it's authenticity.
I thought I'd start with this item; post it, add some photos and I hope that some one may be able to help me verify it's authenticity and value. (I have more items to come).
I hope someone in the forum can help please? I can add more pictures if needed.

Hi Tor and welcome to WAF!

Only one picture of your badge is visible. If you mean reorganizing your collection seriously, becoming an association member here would make it way more easier and you could also sell your collection surplus here on estand.

When posting photos of badges and asking for comments about originality, I dare to say, photos of the reverse are more important than of the front. Also try to take the pictures without any "artistic" ambitions. Straight on, please!
The badge you show, is very hard to judge. More photos please!

Thanks for your advice and clearly you are all correct. I shall post more pictures, especially of the reverse as suggested! Also thanks Pepe77 I shall become more organised and becoming an association member is a good idea.
Also my apologies for taking so long as I have been unable to recently for personal reasons.
