    Deumer U boat Kriegsabzeichen

Can the experts on U-boat abzeichen confirm if the zinc version made by Deumer exists only with a cut out swastika or that they made also a version with a plain swastika. Another question regarding the paper enveloppe: how rare are they and if found, what is their approx value if in good untorn condition? Thx to all who react! Chris

    Hi Chris,
Zinc Deumer u-boats can be found in both solid and cutout swaz variations.
    Solid swaz examples:

    Cut-out swaz examples:

    Cheers,

The envelope, if in good condition should go anywhere around 50$!

Best to post images of the envelope I think as well as the badge.

If I could pick up Deumer U boat packets for $50 a piece I would instantly invest my entire life savings! They are insanely rare, I do not think there has ever been one posted on this forum. I own a packeted Deumer badge which is currently on the estand and it is the only such packet I have ever been lucky to find. Niemanns estimate is right and possibly now a bit low.
