Probably OK. There are very good fakes of this badge, but they usually have a bright shiny finish on them. Base material is probably not zinc as what you would find in a period badge either.

Close up of fake badge mark. Unfortunately, at this point in time it is apparent that the fake vs. the period badge by GWL is quite difficult to identify except that the fake probably has a better finish--too good.
