Need Opinion on U-BOAT BADGE

Hello

I have this zink unmarked badge and need help
to find out if its a good or bad one. Ive looked at all the threads that
I could find and came up empty. The pin is set up like a Weidman
but the rest does not match. Anybody have any ideas on who the
maker might be if its real? Everything is non-magnetic.

Hi Terry not the best of pics and I should know cause i must be the master at bad pics , but going off those, the award looks like an original Deumur, with a replacement Weidmann hinge and pin system. The catch is ok in my opinion as this style is found on some Deumurs. Looks as if someone has tried hard to replace the reverse with a w style hinge but got the set up wrong. All the best

thanks for the info.When i first looked at the badge i thought "Deumer",but the reverse set up confused me.

Thanks for the replies. Always wondered why I never could find a
match. Who ever did it was neat about it. Never burnt the finish or globed solder all over the place.
