    Minesweeper with Case and Document

    Dear All,

Just wanted to share pics of a gorgeous Minesweeper badge. Nothing special but I love the condition with the "oil on water" patina on the the obverse!

BTW, I don't think I have ever run into one with a gold colored reverse... Is that an unusual feature?

    Best regards,

    Albert

                Killer set. Weld one.

What does the words "minenluch" mean? I know it means "mine....."? Sweeper, destroyer, finder? Is it a slang because I'm totally unable to translate the entire word.

****Got it. It's an "S" not an "L" making it "minesearch".

An interesting unmarked minesweeper, usually attributed to Juncker. Not sure about the finish on the reverse, or the obverse for that matter. Not to say it isn't original.
                  Cheers,
                  Brian

Thanks guys So, it is probably a Juncker, fine!

Anyone else with golden finish on the reverse?

                        Hi Marcus,

Thanks for the info. I knew it could not be a one of a kind;-)

                        Best,

Interesting patina on the front. I've only ever seen that on silver.
