Hi Robert,
Not a waste of bandwidth if it re-highlights a bad badge.
Looks to me like a very good casting of a Schwerin. It would be nice to see a full reverse pic of the badge, but I guess that was excluded from the seller's pics for a reason!
Maybe pop it into the fakes section for eaiser reference if you haven't already done so.

As Mike said, not a waste of time. Appears to be a Schwerin type design with a bogus Juncker mark.
For your future info, though not 100% confirmed as we have never seen any original u-boat badges with an accepted Juncker mark, the current thoughts are this style of badge (below) could possibly be of Juncker manufacture.
