Hi Kreigsmarine specialists,

I'm normally a Heer abzeichen collector so I am looking for some help on this CAB. I don't know anything about KM badges but am wanting to include a CAB in my collection. I am currently looking at this badge but there are a couple of things about it I am not familiar with: first, the pin catch looks unusual; and, secondly the incused number.

Could I get some help/opinions on this please? I have already checked the KM fake section and searched this forum.

IMHO,The catch gives it away as a post war Rudolf Souval badge.

I would guess some faker thought a "maker mark" would make it worth more to somebody he was trying to cheat.
