Badges in wear with daggers

Hey guys,

I have often wondered if there was a particular niche group who by tradition choose to wear the orange gripped navy dagger. Then I thought, I have never seen a photo of one in wear by an officer also wearing a badge like the u-boot, HSF, etc.

If you have pictures of badges in wear with an orange gripped officer dagger, please post them.

Hello Terrence,
I have a nice photo of a KM dirk in wear with of all things the Blockade Runner and Minesweeper badges. I can't tell if it is orange or not.

If I am not mistaken, is the orange color the grip turns with age or were they orange to begin with? I seem to remember Craig G. cutting several Luftwaffe grips in half to show the color change.

Well here is my photo (the grip looks white) and I hope you enjoy it. As a fellow Arizonan and friend, I could not leave you hanging.
