              It's a very nice one indeed.
              I have just one question, is this a typical R.S.&.S. hinge and catch?
              (I don't have one and i'm just curious.)

                I believe that R.S.& S. had more than 1 pin type they also had a round pin but all had the ball hinge. I believe that the one you are viewing is an early pin & catch setup. Others chime in if I'am incorrect

                  Yes, this is a very typical set up for R.S.&S. This same badge can also be found with a needle type pin though.
