u boot award help

My first posting here at the KM forum.
I' v been offered these u boot award,
but I realy cant make up my mind if its real or fake.
Been going tru some books and it looks good, but reading a litle here I' m not so sure.
Can you please help me whit thise one.
So what do you think aboute it ??

hello this clasp has all the good signs i would look for, looks like zinc badge, looks like the lettering is nice and crooked, and the eagles left claw reaches down to next arm on swaz. wait for more opinions, but for me looks promising!

And Skip I think you are right aboute the repair on the hook .
more pics wil come later on today, and again thanks for your answers.
It is very promising since thise is just one og aboute 10 awards I have been offered from and old friend.
So it might bee a good chance for more of them to be orginal.
