Hi all,

Beautiful Tombak Sub Badge sold by Detlev today. I've never seen a reverse setup like on this one. Is this a Zimmerman piece?

Looks like a Zimmermann EK pin shape, so it is a believable variant setup for a Zimmermann.

Does not look like a Zimmerman reverse/obverse--flag and gun seems too far off even if it is a variant on the pin and catch. Also does not look like a CE/L-12 although might jump at that at first glance on the reverse.

Maybe a better shot of the eagle would help, but still does not look like a Zimmerman to me.

I have no idea what it might be.

Not FO - the neck on this one is too long. We have Paralax because of the angle it was photographed from...

If it was not from Detlevs update, but from anybody else, would we not assume that this is a fake, as it has details from different makers?

Regardless of who is selling it I think we need a straight shot before a determination can be made. It is premature to say good or bad at this point IMHO.
