CCC by FLL unknown line die flaw repaired crack in die ?

[90th Light]

I was looking at threads on the close combat clasp made by FLL and I found the unknown line die flaw appearing on more than one badge.

Here are the threads;

Looks like FLL might have repaired the die at some stage in the war ???
