Since P&L lost their license in 1941, all badges are early war high quality tombak pieces and not so easy to find.

got it! but why? since all badges are in nice quality.

For sure some very nice P&L badges.
I really like the quality of these early hollow ones.

              Best regards

No one really knows the reason P&L lost their license (and Schickle too). Clearly it wasn't because their badges were inferior, as you can see they are excellent quality and finish. Also the fact that the badges must have been acceptable because even after they lost their license, the PKZ allowed their remain stock to be sold off to other Pforzheim makers, who were allowed to sell them (Mayer, Zimmermann, Foester & Barth, etc.).

Really one of the great mysteries still in this hobby....

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
