        Hi Richard,

        A fine original Rettenmaier-made GAB you have there. The catch looks like it might be replaced or repaired, but other than that a fine original. These are pretty common, but always a nice GAB to have in the collection because of the nice, crisp eagle design IMO.

          Tom's spot on & I agree about the catch repair. These usually have an oval catch plate, this has a rectangular one. Slightly different but a known variant I think. Stewy
