    type 1 fake ?

    what is meant by a type 1 fake ? and how would you tell? I have a silver ccc and got it from someone who came highly recommended . I was working out a trade the other day and was told it was no good. I know theres a book by Thomas Durante out the but every where I look its unavailable.

        Repro #1 in Tom's book is & I quote:
        CCC marked "A.G.M.u.K", die struck. It's the best I can do without scanning the page. Tom may be along soon to explain better than I. Stewy

            Keep your eyes open both here an on book sellers sites. I have seen many for way way less.

                    Hi guys,

                    Stewy gives a good explanation, Reproduction #1 in the CCC book just happens to be an AGMuK, simply because the reproduction chapter is in alphabetical order.

                    And NO, not all AGMuK CCCs are fake! It is always best to post pictures of the clasp in question, and we would be happy to let you know if its an original, or one of the dreaded Repros.
