    GAB out of the woodwork

I just obtained this unmarked GAB from the family of an Ohio vet. I'm a dagger guy so my knowledge is limited when it comes to these things. Can someone tell me who the maker is? Is it an early, mid, or late piece? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

        Hi there,

It's a solid zinc Juncker GAB, rough timeline is mid war onwards IMO. The die used for this massive badge is a slightly different design than the earlier hollow zinc and cupal versions.

        Regards, Ned.

Yep, a fine original for me as well. Not in the best condition unfortunately, but original nonetheless.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Nice original in aged condition.

When they turn up in this condition, originality jumps out at you.

I think this is one of those badges that has been labelled a particular maker but probably has not had definitive proof.

              nice addition

              regards
              Graeme

Definitely original, and I stand with Ned....probable Juncker manufactured.
