Your thoughts on this Bronze A.G.M.u.K. Nahkampfspange please

My first post and very much a newcomer to WW2 German militaria.

This Close Combat Clasp is newly aquired and is my first real venture into awards/badges/clasps.

I have researched this heavily on this forum and am now 95% confident that it is a good one, but some expert confirmation would be reassuring.

The conclusions that I have reached, if correct, is that this is zinc, of late war production, a small font A.G.M.u.K. and is referred to as a type 1.5.3.

I believe that this type is quite common, and consequently has a lower value than other makers?

The thing that I really liked about this clasp was the great condition and also the detail.

As I only intend to own one CCC then I'll be more than happy with this one if it is a legit wartime production.

One concern that I initially had was the packet that it came in was fake!

Your views and comments would be very much appreciated; I would still like to be sure about this one.

    Regards,

    Dave.

Can anyone please confirm whether or not this is an original type 1.5.3. clasp?

    Kind regards,

    Dave.

      Dave,
My reference book is packed away so I can't confirm the exact type, but I know if I saw this one for sale at a good price I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat. It's a beautiful ccc in excellent condition!

Thanks for the prompt response Dale, very much appreciated, that's really good to know.

Yes, I thought the detail was great and the condition excellent for what is effectively a 70 year old clasp.

        I really like it...

        Kind regards,

        Dave.

              Hi Dave,

Very nice original, and you have identified it correctly, a textbook 1.5.3 AGMuK in the CCC book. Great looking clasp, a keeper for sure.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
