      Inhand it really is outstanding.

      I like the story that came with the badge. It is from a number of badges which a family of a US WWII veteran finally parted with. As the story goes the WWII veteran was a US Army officer in charge of building P.O.W. camps for captured Germans from 1944-45. He traded cigarettes and food items for badges the Germans had been awarded during combat. There were quite a few very nice numbered PAB's, GAB's, etc. I was lucky enough to find this CCC on a military auction site. Now it rests in my personal collection.

          Thanks Bruce.

          I had a chance to take some more photos with my white balance turned on. The color in the previous photos had a sort of golden hue to them, unlike what the badge really looks like inhand.

          BTW, I'm still waiting on Tom's verdict on this badge, him being the final word on these badges...
